• The American School & University Magazine's Educational Interiors Showcase recently announced that Slippery Rock University's Boozel Dining Hall received an Outstanding Design Award in the Cafeteria/Food Services Areas category. The Porter Khouw design team, lead by Senior Vice President Albin Khouw, was the lead foodservice consultant on this project. The lead architect on this project was STV Architects in Douglassville, Pennsylvania.

He also co-presented two interest sessions during the conference; one entitled Going for Gold: The Need to Be Leed Certified and one entitled Trayless Dining.
