ALBIN KHOUW, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT (PRINCIPAL-IN-CHARGE)
Albin Khouw started his career in the food industry as a short-order cook at a Polynesian restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. At the time, Albin was pursuing undergraduate studies in Biology at Ohio State University. However, his “extra-curricular” interest in foodservice had been piqued. Following college, Albin was accepted to the prestigious Master’s Degree program in Hotel & Restaurant Administration at Cornell University.
As a student, Albin was immediately drawn to the design aspect of the hotel and restaurant industry and served as a graduate teaching assistant in hotel construction and engineering courses. Albin honed his talent in design and customer service from seven years in Walt Disney World, first as a foodservice supervisor then as a project coordinator involved in the building of Epcot Center.
Albin’s professional career has covered more than 20 years designing commercial kitchen and serveries. His portfolio highlights a wide array of projects from ballpark concessions and restaurants, prison cafeterias, medical center foodservice, military dining halls, college and university student dining, corporate cafeterias, and senior living centers. Albin has consistently garnered accolades and compliments from architects and owners for the highest quality of design work and commendable customer service.
